Inflatable garlic - φουσκωτό σκόρδο, 2024
Hosted by Knead Studio, Athens

Charlotte Nieuwenhuys is an artist who shapes her creative expression like one might compose a written work or a poem.
Her approach is rooted in a deep connection to both the materials she uses and the themes she explores, imbuing them with contrasting, often discordant, energies. Her approach reveals the underlying tension of a story where what is left unsaid speaks to our shared and personal intuitions. Often inviting interaction or collective participation, Nieuwenhuys’s work is driven by the desire to go beyond her own vision, opening space for other viewpoints to share her narrative.
In Inflatable Garlic, knead_studio contributes a unique element between the two canvases — a new material that Charlotte integrates and transforms through her expressive lines.
